did the film meet the producers expectations

The film did not meet the producers expectations. The producer said that the film itself will be boring and it needs extra things in the film to make it more relatable. For example in the film Run fat boy run The comedic side and the jokey vibes it gives off makes the film funny as well as serious. In order to make the film more interesting and relatable I am going to make it so my main actor is a bit older and has a young kid that he isn't able to see because he has divorced his wife. This is a bit like the film ant-man where there is a main narrative however a side narrative of a dad fighting to get his daughter back.  The reason I am going to do this is to make sure that the film is interesting. I am also going to make sure the lighting and camera shots reflect how my actor is feeling. Throughout the film there is a lot of montage shots that often don't show emotion however I am going to change these montage shots to maybe some tracking shots, medium shots with some quick cuts to show emotion.

Does the producer like the film

The producer likes my film because there is a sense of my film being relatable however there is not enough of a narrative in order to make it extremely likeable for example during my feedback the producer talks about how two brothers arguing is not enough of a narrative to enjoy the film properly. The producer also mentions how he likes the idea of two brothers training for the run however he disagrees with how the script is written and some details in it for example Steve needs to have more of a reason to want to lose weight so it is relatable to people. He needs to make people come away and think they have learned something and the problem with this film is that they haven't learned anything no life lessons or anything its just two brothers arguing. To fix this issue I am going to have a heartfelt moment at the end where Tom mentions how life is worth living and by being healthy and active you can live it for longer.

does the content and style match your genre?

The content and the style of my presentation. Originally I thought that the content and style was correct but I did have some issues with this. One of my main problems was that I didn't have any female actors however I have changed this. Another issue I had was that the production schedule wasn't up to scratch and needed more things to do on it . The style however was up to scratch as it is a film about running and brothers and throughout the presentation there is a variety of different colours and there is a variety of different screenshots. These screenshots and colours are very bland however they show emotion through blue and red. 

I have looked at other sports based dramas such as rocky and run fat boy run. Both of these films have been filmed in a middle class/ lower class area to create a sense of meaning for the character that they want to get out of that area. I have almost copped that sense of wanting to show people what the main character is and wanting to prove people wrong. It is set in a middle class area where most people are in shape and healthy however Steve is not
